David M. Silbiger David M. Silbiger was first licensed to practice law in New York in 1985, after graduating from the New York University School of Law in May, 1984. He was also licensed to practice law in Maryland in 1985. Mr. Silbiger had previously graduated from Georgetown University, with Magna Cum Laude honors in May 1981, being at the top of his class.
Mr. Silbiger practiced in a mid-sized Manhattan law firm before relocating back to his home state of Maryland. While in New York, Mr. Silbiger's practice was concentrated in the areas of corporate finance, general corporate matters, real estate and bankruptcy issues.
Once back in Maryland, Mr. Silbiger expanded his practice areas to include civil litigation, personal injury, workers' compensation, criminal representation and domestic matters. Mr. Silbiger now concentrates his practice in areas of consumer bankruptcy, to include Chapter 7 and Chapter 13, personal injury, including automobile, motorcycle, premises liability, medical malpractice and workers' compensation claims, criminal representation including felony and misdemeanor charges, business and corporate representation and domestic matters.
Mr. Silbiger is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Baltimore City Bar Association for the District of Maryland, United States District Court for the District of Maryland, United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and is currently licensed to practice in the State of Maryland, State of New York and in the Federal Courts of the United States.
